Centers on the body's surface

Centers on the body’s surface are formed at the intersection points of the meridians. Through them, the meridians flow into the space outside the physical body, “a cocoon” is formed from them. If the work of these centers is disrupted, “the cocoon” loses its mobility, that leads to a failure in the perception of the surrounding reality, unreasonable fears and anxieties arise.

Tactile contact, sincere touches, good massage, thermal procedures help to restore the correct functioning of these centers on the body’s surface. Awareness of these centers makes it possible to perceive the surrounding reality and process information about it much faster than using such organs of perception as sight or hearing.

Traditional martial arts teach us to perceive the world around us through the awareness of these centers on the body’s surface.
